Welcome

Welcome. This blog page was created as a resource for FFP time study participants. Individual definitions for each code are provided on this blog.  You may review each code description by using the navigation bar on the right.

Background on FFP:
FFP, or Federal Financial Participation, is a way for agencies to obtain compensation for activities they already perform. All activities that are Medicaid related and/or are performed with individuals who have Medicaid as an option can be reimbursed. This reimbursement typically is matched at a 50/50 rate.

Drawing FFP will allow the Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) to have sustainable funds for continuing and growing programs. Your help in this effort is greatly appreciated! Mahalo!

If you have any questions or comments during the time study, please message andrew@hcbs.info or ariel@hcbs.info or feel free to post them on the blog using the comments section on each page.
