- Time spent on the telephone, in–person, or via a website obtaining information to fill out a Call Log and/or Intake Screen.
- Time spent contacting additional individuals, such as physicians or other family members, to complete or verify information included on a Call Log and/or Intake Screen.
- Time spent traveling to and from an Intake Screen that is conducted in person.
- Time spent conducting administrative activities necessary to complete a Call Log and/or Intake Screen, such as:
- Identifying correct contact information.
- Entering data into an electronic system.
- Answering questions about the purpose and nature of the Call Log and/or Intake Screen.
- Providing results of the Call Log and/or Intake Screen and making appropriate referrals.
- Setting up translation or signing services.
This code should be used for all activities related to referral, coordination or monitoring of services, including:
Time Study Codes
- Paperwork
- Clerical activities including making copies of related materials and faxing related information
- Time spent reviewing voicemails or emails
- Conducting research on related topics
- Time spent consulting with a supervisor or co-workers or supervising
- Travel, including time spent arranging transportation
- 2a. Medicaid Related- Discussing information to determine whether someone may be eligible for Medicaid or making a referral for Medicaid or any Medicaid-funded service as part of the interaction. It is not necessary for the participant to decide to pursue Medicaid or to make a referral to select this code.
- 2b. Not Medicaid related- Not discussing any information related to Medicaid or considering any referrals to Medicaid or a Medicaid-funded service as part of the interaction.
